Who we work with

"It is refreshing to meet with a professional who truly cares about the young person rather than trying to get the young person to fit a system."

We work with children and teenagers, diagnosing and treating those who have mental health and developmental disorders… but we do much more than that.

Children and teenagers are not separate from the world around them; they are part of a family, a school and a wider community. So we don’t just focus on them as an individual. We consider the different levels and layers of their lives at every step of the treatment journey, supporting you as parents and carers, liaising with schools or social workers as needed, seeing and considering your child in the wider context of their lives.

Parents and carers who want to be part of that treatment journey, who accept that it can take time, money and effort but are prepared to collaborate with us to solve the issues their child is experiencing will get the most from this process.

The kind of issues we can help with are:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Concentration and attention difficulties

  • Depression

  • Emotional difficulties

  • Fear and phobias

  • Panic

  • PTSD

  • Low self-esteem

  • Self-harm

  • Obsessive compulsive disorder

  • Difficulties attending school

We work with families who

  • Recognise the value of collaboration

  • Commit to the process

  • Are willing to work together to support their family member

  • Want to be part of the process

  • Aren’t looking for a quick fix
