Dr Marina Mihaylova – Independent Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
I qualified as a doctor in 1997 and worked in the NHS for almost 10 years.
I have been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 2015. I became a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in August 2018. I have a full licence to practice with the GMC (my number is 7116063).
I have worked with children and adolescents for many years in the fields of Psychiatry, Public Health and Early Childhood Education.
As a psychiatrist, I have experience with emotional and neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD and ADHD). Along with psychiatric assessments, I can offer short term psychological interventions and prescribe medication when necessary.
My areas of interests are psychological therapies (individual and group), teaching and building resilience in the new generation.
My quest is to help young people to discover and develop their strengths in order to live their life according to what is important to them.
